Spring Hill Cemetery Association
Established 1852
Lynchburg’s first “rural cemetery” was designed to resemble a park or garden by famous landscape architect, John Notman. He also designed Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond and Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Spring Hill Cemetery Association has been serving the families of Lynchburg and surrounding areas for more than 150 years. We provide a convenient, lovely, and peaceful setting to memorialize loved ones. Our gates are open every day of the year for families and friends to visit those who have passed away. Our cemetery is well maintained and beautiful in all seasons, with numerous trees, shrubs, flowers, gardens, and statuary throughout the grounds. We are dedicated to providing the best service possible to all who enter the gates of Spring Hill Cemetery.
